A Black Tie Affair CBA Junior Prom
Wanna Jam DJs kicked off the start of the 2011 Light Up The Night Prom Tour with the Junior Prom for Christian Brothers Academy on April 29th at the Double Tree Hotel. This is one of our favorite venues to preform at because the hotel recently renovated the grande ballroom and it turned out beautiful. While we have hosted almost every CBA dance for years, this was our first time doing their Junior Prom and we were excited to take their prom to a new level.
The prom committee pick one of our basic prom package plus six uplights set to pink and blue. The theme was a Black Tie Affair and they decorated the tables with tuxedo style centerpiece candles. The night began with some popular light dinner music by John Mayer, Michael Buble, and other similar artists while the students took photos and found their seats for dinner. Following the meal, Salanger Photography took a class photo before we began the dance mix. Within minutes of starting the music, the dance floor was packed. We kept the energy high with songs like: On The Floor, 2012, Dynamite, and Born This Way. Halfway through the night, we led a dance contest for $300 in cash prizes. The juniors partnered up and showed off some impressive dance skills. After the contest the students danced the rest of the night away before getting in their limos to attend the post party.
